From law and human resources to that of pest control, veterinary science and wildlife management, the environmental field boasts a diverse range of opportunities for the youth as well as professional candidates. If you’re on the search for environmental jobs or would like to explore your opportunities, take a look at the variety of options from which to choose:

Law, Human Resources and Administration

Industry specific and requiring specialised qualifications, environmental law, human resources and administration is a subsector that has grown exponentially, and has done so on a global scale. With a rise in concern for our environment, ecosystems and the way in which we use up our natural resources, a niche was developed and made way for a number of professionals who were looking for a change of pace and a new challenge. If you have an existing law, human resources or admin degree, there are ways in which you can up-skill yourself to fulfil job opportunities within this subsector. If, however, you are looking for a career path, perhaps a degree in one of the above mentioned fields is ideal. Specialisation will happen in the final years of tertiary education, which means that aspiring environmentalists will have the opportunity to pick and choose their area of focus.
